THE Goal

Provide access to bicycles and active mobility options to residents, workers, and visitors who may not otherwise have the ability to purchase a new bicycle

Strategies

Acquire used bicycles for short and long term rental and lease,

 

Refurbish bicycles to be given free of charge through an “earn-a-bike” program. Residents and citizens that are facing economic challenges can earn a bike through public service work,

 

Set standards and procedures for assessment, inspection, and safety of bikes owned by the co-op
